Angelika lives on Vancouver Island and finds daily inspiration in the natural setting of mist and cedars. She is published on international web sites, and in newspapers, anthologies, and journals. She enjoys composing photo-haiku on a number of web sites also. The daily contact of on-line haiku groups is a constant source of joy in sharing, learning and making international friendships with fellow haikuists. She no longer works in an academic library, but still goes for walks with her pen/pencil tucked into her hair. Angelika is working on a sumi-e and haiku book. She gives poetry reading in British Columbia. Angelika was given an honourable mention in the New Year's Photo-Haiku contest, 2001 by Museki Abe, an Award from Japan Society on Water Environment, and is a Beacon Correspondent on Museki Abe's Interactive Photo-Haiku web site. Previous and future credits include: Asahi Haikuist Network, Poetry In The Light, temps libre/free times, the annual Canadian Haiku Anthology, and others. Angelika is a regular contributor to a number of Italian haiku and photo haiku sites, including Museki Abe's Interactive Photo-Haiku and Roderick Stewart's PhotoHaiku Arts. haiku: "at 12:03" - previously unpublished
